Fratifoglie
This mountain hamlet inhabited by Leafy Sheeps sustain itself only thanks to farming and the fermentation of the prized fox grape, exported up to Lenia and from there loaded on ferries and traded to east.
A peculiar Fratifoglie characteristic is the presence of several bell towers, which during the waning moon nights resonate for hours in unison, in order to keep away the weredogs and the manure-eaters from the town’s borders.

Questo borgo montano abitato da Pecore Fogliose si sostenta unicamente con la coltivazione e la fermentazione della pregiata uva fragola, esportata fino a Lenia e poi di lì caricata sui battelli e commerciata ad est.
Caratteristica peculiare di Fratifoglie è la presenza di numerosi campanili, che nelle notti di luna calante risuonano all’unisono per ore allo scopo di tener lontani i cani mannari e i mangiasterco dai confini cittadini.
Rivers of leaves
In every undergrowth there is a crunchy carpet made of leaves; in the depth of some forests, though, foliage fall like a constant rain that builds up in giant layers on the ground.
Sometimes they can reach the waist, in valleys they can build up meters and meters in height.
When a groundwater or a torrent join one of these static expanses of leaves, they create fully-fledged rivers of rotten foliage and cloudy water.
I torrenti fogliosi
In tutti i sottoboschi vi è uno scricchiolante tappeto di foglie; tuttavia nelle profondità di alcune foreste il fogliame cade come una pioggia continua che si accumula in giganteschi strati sul suolo. Alle volte arrivano alla vita, nelle valli possono impilarsi per metri e metri. Quando una falda d’acqua o un torrente si uniscono ad uno di queste statiche distese di foglie si originano veri e propri fiumi di fogliame marcio e acqua torbida
